Each style comes with an example image showcasing the unique effect it produces. These various cartoon styles will be thoroughly compared and discussed below, highlighting their individual characteristics and features.
1. How to Use
To transform your video into a cartoon movie, simply click on "Choose file" to upload your desired video, then select the cartoon style you wish to apply. Once a style is chosen, an effect sample will be displayed. Finally, click on "upload to process" and patiently wait for a moment while your cartoon video is being created.
Note: Every style has its own AI model, Paprika, Celeba Distill, Face Paint 1, and Face Paint 2 take considerably longer than others to produce the cartoonized videos.
2. Introduction of different styles
Whitebox
It's a versatile cartoon style that, in my opinion, is suitable for a wide range of purposes and one of my personal favorites. It uses a white-box cartoonization framework, distinguishing it from black-box cartoonization frameworks (yes, there is a black-box one). Not to bore you with the technical details here, let's focus on the effects it produces. Overall, Whitebox can be considered a good-for-all style, and its processing speed is fast.
Hayao, Hosoda, Shinkai
The three styles take their names from renowned Japanese animators: Hayao Miyazaki, Mamoru Hosoda, and Makoto Shinkai. If you have an interest in animation, you may have encountered some of their notable works, such as Hayao Miyazaki's Howl's "Moving Castle and The Wind Rises", Mamoru Hosoda's "The Boy and the Beast and Mirai", as well as Makoto Shinkai's "The Place Promised in Our Early Days" and "Children Who Chase Lost Voices".
These three styles will dye the picture with certain colors besides cartoonizing it, resulting in a slight alteration of the color tone in the produced videos. This distinguishes them from Whitebox, which maintains the original video color. This quality makes them particularly well-suited for creating unique and captivating special effects. The processing speed of these three is also fast.

Paprika
Paprika isn't named after the spicy seasoning. Paprika is a captivating Japanese animated sci-fi psychological thriller in 2006, directed by Satoshi Kon. This style will also dye the picture with slightly blue while cartoonizing it.
Keep in mind that the processing speed is not as fast as the previous styles, so please be patient while waiting for your videos to be processed.
Celeba Distill, Face Paint 1, and Face Paint 2
These three styles have undergone specialized training for human faces, making them particularly effective for images featuring prominent or 'big head' appearances. However, when it comes to human figures without exaggerated head sizes, such as half body or full body shots, the result is not as impressive. In such cases, there is a possibility of encountering distortions or deformations. They may also produce interesting effects when applied to animals and landscapes.
It's important to note that these three styles also operate at a slower processing speed.
